Close PowerStrip and send me a copy of your pstrip.ini file.

There's no pstrip.ini in my PowerStrip folder. The only ini file is uninstal.inf.

I'm using Windows 7.

Go to PowerStrip menu > Options > Preferences and double-click on the "Compatibility" label/bar - this will create a shortcut to your pstrip.ini file on your desktop. Close PowerStrip before opening.

YES!

PowerStrip rocks! My DVI port works now (only problem is a weird graphical glitch but it appears to be a software problem)! Best $30 I ever spent!

I payed for registration of powerstrip at 6.56am CET (Central European Time), longer than 2 hours ago. I should receive an email with registration details at the email address that I used for this forum.

Thanks for your time.

Resend to my address, and request a read receipt in your email client. Chances are the email is being blocked on your end.

I received several emails from Plimus and EnTech that were not filtered, but no email with a file attachment arrived.

Plimus sales requested phone verification.  When I submitted the form on their site, the page errored with:

"This order has already been approved, no further action is required"

I had problems with that nuisance expiration warning.  I also couldn't make the REGEDIT file work.

The instructions say to save the enclosed file as .reg.  I did so but it was still a text file.  Then the penny dropped - Do not RENAME the file.  Open it and then SAVE AS.  Make sure you change the bottom option to ALL FILES rather than ANSI.

After that all went well.  It's an easy mistake to make.  Hope this helps somebody else.  Grin

Thanks for posting that. A lot of people who are unfamiliar with Windows file extensions do end up renaming the file from "pstrip3.txt" to "pstrip3.reg.txt".
