Hi all, I'm a hardware engineer and I need to adjust Hsync timing and pixel count for a custom made device. My laptop + DVI Splitter + monitor works fine before.

Here is the DVI Splitter
http://www.aten.com/products/productItem.php?pcid=20050107104612001&psid=20050117102733002&pid=2005051014267002&layerid=subClass6

But then, after running the Powerstrip with custom resolution setting (1920 x 540), the monitor goes black. I have restore all setting and the monitor works fine if I skip the splitter.

I wonder how I can fix the Splitter, and if possible, set it to accept 1920 x 540

Thanks.

I'm afraid I have no idea. You'd have to ask Aten - the answer would lie with them.

Hi, I'm waiting for their reply. But will the Powerstrip write anything like EDID or stuff to the monitor? I don't think I have click anything related to EDID.

Thanks,
Andy

Hmmm... it is my laptop that doesn't send out Vsync, not the problem with the DVI Splitter. When I use another computer to drive the DVI Splitter, it works. I guess the Powerstrip messed up the laptop HDMI output, I'm fixing it now. THanks for your help.
