Hi,
I am running Win7 Ultimate and have tried running Powerstrip with in the game "Day of Defeat Source" which runs on the HL2 source engine.
I can set my hot keys to brighten my screen (as certain maps are really dark and the sun on my screen makes it impossible to play). But I enter the game and press my hotkeys and nothing happens in game. My Desktop is all brightened up as I would have expected the game to be, but the game there is no change.
I believe the games runs on Opengl and I am running Nvidia GTX 460 in SLi mode.

What am I doing wrong please? Undecided

You aren't doing anything wrong. In order for that feature to work, PowerStrip needs to bypass the driver and Windows and write directly to the hardware palette DAC, and that just isn't supported on post-GF7 NVidia GPUs.
