hello i want to upgrade my laptop soon, but i notice today, every laptop which contains an Intel processor, also contains Integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000.

can anyone tell me, within powerstrip are the 'advanced timing options' greyed out when using Integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000? and if so, is this an issue which can be fixed, or is that impossible/unlikely

ps. perhaps can anyone tell me, are there ANY integrated laptop graphics system which allows for 'advanced timing options' within powerstrip? (prefer intel processor if possible, thanks)

best wishes

Any new laptop is going to feature a new graphics controller, whether discrete or integrated. I'm afraid PowerStrip is no longer updated with support for new controllers, so you should assume it won't work and look for a graphics controller that has its own timing options.
